could someone or numerous people explain to me or give me their thoughts on the glut of clubs that have sprung up on da.

With the obvious fear of sounding like a miserable old git (please dont be afraid to communicate this view) i feel it just complicates what is already complicated enough for someone with a busy life!! and gives me more to do here, whilst im flattered people want an image submitted to their group, it means i have to approve or deny, pass more judgement on other images, etc etc

Is it not enough that my images are in one place ...... consistently amongst all my other images!!!

i'd love to here what people think...

btw im off to the scilly isles for my birthday this weekend, have a good easter all....

I know where you're coming from, I resisted them for a while then for some reason decided to relent... honestly on an average day just don't have time for em... most of the recent changes are pretty shit to be honest, specially these llamas, wtf?? Have a good trip mate.

I am a member of 3 groups, all of which have a very specific subject that they are allowed to post on- one is all knit/crochet, one is cross-stitch, and one is wild animals. It's especially useful to me for the first two; there are a lot of people in those groups where I love their craft stuff, but the rest of their gallery... not so much. This saves me the hassle of having to weed through the deviations they submit to get to something I'm actually interested in.

Have a good one, Stephen.
I feel the same at times, it gives me more to do than I want to, or otherwise would. But it is also my guilt feeling for not responding to what is in my inbox, I guess, I just want to support or appreciate everybody which is of course impossible. I do have to cut back. It is insane, actually. :-)

I am in just in one group.

Which island?
I think Tresco is the nicest, however I reckon youre more a Bryher kinda guy...
Weather looks unsettled, I hope youre flying not on the Scillonian.
That could be a kill or cure trip if youre on the boat.
Good luck, the storm systems dont hang around on Scillies, they blow over real fast and head for the landmass of Cornubia.
Happy Birthday if we dont hear from you nearer the time.

I like the beaches on the St Martins side of Tresco, amazing smooth granite in white sand.
The rugged coast of Bryher and the haunted bays on the Atlantic side.
If you can get some smooth water, hire a kayak and at low tide paddle around some of the wrecks as they stick up out of the sea like garden ornaments!!
Also the stone circles and tombs on Tresco and St Martins are amazing.
Mark

PS the group things on here are shite, another reason to jump ship.

Sick bag...
Enjoy none the less.
I found the islands so settling, more so than Guernsey.
If the suns shines it looks like paradise, a dartmoor granite beach dream.
Its how the moors will look when the tide comes in for good.
