Description

I managed an unconventional christmas this year,on christmas eve i drove 170 miles to the pembrokeshire coast and spent christmas day on this wonderful coastline.

I was determined to test out my new 14mm lens on this trip and this is the first image i've submitted shot with it.

This shot has had no lens correction (although could probably do with a little) but im impressed with the lack of any real distortion, the quality is maybe a little dimished as it was blowing a hoolie and it was hard to stand up let alone take a shot 70 feet above this bay without fear of being blown off into it.
despite this i have to say im impressed with the clarlty sharpness and colours reproduced by this lens and already feel justified in my purchase.
i shot many different compostions around this little bay and may well submit another shot from it.
so shot on the pembrokeshire coast wales .

This photograph is a true trap for the eyes of the beholder.

Sassaputzin has time and time again delivered out-worldly shoreline landscapes, straight out of fantasy novels.
And this is no exception.

But this time there is something else present here, something besides the almost palpable textures, vivid and intense colors, sharp detail and dramatic lighting.

This time a magical yet imperceptible spiral is created by the grassy edges and the mysterious rock formations that stand stoically against the crashing sea, finally reaching the broken rocks on the weathered shoreline.

Not quite the Golden Mean of the perfect Nautilus shell, but still strong enough to make our eyes travel it's length, linger on the sharp edges of broken rock and then, beginning from the smooth green grass, embark on the journey once again.

A dramatic and beautiful shot, that sneaks up on you the more you look at it.
