12/11/2010 a shot in desperate need of a re-edit...so here it is...

This was one of the last images i shot on my first full day on the faroe islands, i have submitted a similar shot but not a large panoramic like this, again for perspective the cliff on the left is 400m high.

I'd driven about 200km trying to visit as many places as possible and ended up here looking out to the island you see Fugloy from Kunoy.

The last light was unique and the clouds you see were disappearing, so i shot some long exposures with my 70-200mm lens fitted with a nd8 filter and lee.6 soft grad.

This is comprised of 7 vertical shots stitched together giving an image of about 14500x5500px.

edited in lightroom stitched with PTGui, finished off in photoshop CS4.
