Nothing like retail therapy for banishing broken camera blues..

I went out today and bought a new lens, a piece of glass i've been lusting after for a while.

Canon's EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM, as i wandered back from the shop i bumped into the little chap above who lives at devon bird of prey centre but was in town raising awareness and funds..

So i went to grab my body as i figured what better subject for a test shot...

Not my thing but i do admire the beauty of birds of prey...i have a friend who hunts with harris hawks and its on my list to spend a day with him when his bird looks a bit prettier (shes malting)..

so this is just a test shot really from my new lens
