A shot from Great Links Tor on the north eastern edge of dartmoor, this shot looks to the south over one of the largest expanses of moor. Great links is one of the highest tors on Dartmoor and represents the eastern border of Dartmoors live firing range.
I had a particularly fun night not far from here about 18yrs ago on a night live firing exercise, we had plenty of ammunition, my friend managed to bend the barrel of his weapon he fired 18 magazines off one after the other....we knew the sa80 was rubbish then and they still use it now!!
