mackerel moor

....i submit this purely because its the first time ive been infront of a mackerel sky with a camera......i waited about an hour for the sky to split fully into this composition....im aware the foreground could be more interesting but thats not what this is about ...just a wonderful expansive sky...

The moor is the closest moor to the farm where i was brought up, i used to ride my horse over this moor for many years as a boy.....therews a dual carraigeway through the middle of it now....oh well thats progress....although you wouldnt beleive that if you knew the soul destrying town it leads too....funny world...
