Driving through southern ireland on christmas eve was like driving through a winter wonderland. Freezing conditions for a month had lead to hoar frost on everything.

You wouldn't believe how many times I tried to get this sort of shot during that cold spell. Every morning areas were like this on my way to work and by the time I was free or actually had my camera it was all gone or overcast.

this was from ireland jake, it was like driving through finland on christmas eve, they'd had freezing fog for the best part of a month, typically it rained like hell christmas night and it was all gone!!

drove to galway and stayed there, 1 day of good weather, christmas was ok just another weekend for me, new year was a good party, one of my friends finally got it together to hire the big country house thing so we had a blast....

full of ideas, its fitting them in jake......we should just choose a weekend and do a long weekend somewhere, possibly cornwall, i go there all the time and never take any images...which needs putting right....
