The one week link in my equipment was my tripod, I've worn out a few manfrotto/giotto tripods in a short space of time they are just not built to withstand a landscapers battering!
So a trip to the nearest stockist who actually had stock resulted in me walking out with a GT354L tripod with Gitzo GH3780QR ball head. I hadn't anticipated how a tripod would inspire me and improve the quality of my images. It is a joy to use and i will review it in my forthcoming journal. Shot with a 300mm lens looking down at the moonlight flickering across algae strewn rocks on the north cornish coast...
