This is where i ended up on first day travelling around the Faroe islands....

It is the island of Fugloy also known as 'bird island', it was a mesmerising site as the sunset hung on forever fortunately.
The image you see in now way gives you an idea of scale although you can just make out lights from a small village called kirkja on right hand side.
As someone who has had an interest in climbing the cliffs on the left are truly awe inspiring....they rise out of the sea vertically for about 300m and at their highest are 448m.

I shot many different images including a very large long exposure pano that my computer is in no shape memeory wise to tackle...

Finally someone has done a long exposure at the coast with good reason. Honestly I am getting so sick of those 30 second sea shots which basically read: "I cant compose a shot for shit, but maybe if I wack 10 stops of neutral density on"

Anyway this fortunately doesnt fall into that bracket. Simple but effective Stevie.

your right this doesnt the conditions were very unusual ....
im glad you like it alex...i have a massive stitich of this island shot when i arrived at the this location...
