re-edit 22/02/2013
Looking out towards tresco and bryher from st marys on the Scilly Isles as the sun descends.
Unfortunately i didnt get the time i'd have liked to take images on the scilly isles, but intend to go back in the not to distant future as ive not seen a lot of landscape / waterscape photography from there...

thanks annabelle im glad you like it, i think an 8 minute exposure would make the most turbulent sea like milk :)

Wow, this photo is fabulous! There is some sort of magic to the sun's reflection on the smooth blue of water. Very beautiful! Great angle.

Nice shot Steve. Loving the compo and exposure is excellent. Only critique would be the blown highlights in the sky. Although they would be impossible to recover so meh :)

Very nice shot, love the contrast between the warmth of the rocks, and the cool blues of the water. Horizon doesn't look level though.

I love the detail of who one is lead into the picture by this projected lines from the foreground to the middle and the more far stones, and also the long exposure. But I think I would not want it on my wall, since the stones in the front seem a bit too massive. :-)
