This weekend i have had one of the most relaxing weeekends this year, it is just a pure pleasure and invigorating to be in places such as this...i feel like ive had a weeks holiday.
Running up and down the coastal path to get to this location (one i'd scoped the day before) was not so relaxing..... i had a friends question to me recently ringing in my ears as i sweated uphill with my camera bag.......he'd asked on facebook what my secret was?.....was it photoshopped?....what camera did i use?....i replied in my usual (up myself way according to alex) explained it was about light, good gear was essential, i had to use photoshop but couldnt recreate good light, told him of the 1000's of miles i'd done....miles i'd walked/ran ....countless visits to the same location.....i only wish he was a fly on my shoulder whilst i run up and down cliffs to get to locations such as this.... Shot on the wonderful north devon coastline, an 8min exposure from the top of one of the most impressive slabs on this coastline, a favourite with climbers..... i used a lee .9soft grad and lee 10 stop filter as the sun set...
