autumnal dart by sassaputzin autumnal dart by sassaputzin
Just one of the most enchanting points on any river that runs off dartmoor, a life time is not enough to shoot every nuance of these rivers through out the seasons.....
This opportunity lasted minutes from the point i arrived at the base of this tributary that meets the river dart....this is one of the first shots i took conscious that the low sun would not last long...

It was great without the sun...but wonderful with the rays of sun peaking through. I really love the warmth in your shots!

Nice composition... I especially love the sun, the water, and the way the sun works on the trees on the top right.

Not sure about the litle bit on the left where the sun hits the tree trunk, draws my eye, could be cropped....

Very nice shot steve, alssic English stuff. I do wonder a little about the foreground though, it slightly detracts from the river, trees and sunstar. Maybe you could have included a little less?

Truly stunning photo - does your lens give the star effect, or did you use a filter? (Hope you don't mind me asking?)

its just the lens anna more blades to the aperture means more star points....the diffused light created by the polarising filter probably helped........
