Something a little different, this is a shot looking up into a row of very old beech trees shot with 14mm lens.
What fascinates me about this is the way the trees fit together, plants are able to sense other plants growing around them and inhibit their growth accordingly mainly so they are not shaded. this shot illustrates that perfectly, each branch has its own space in the canopy...

well done to capture this...
Great photo...or is it a drawing...or a papercut...?!
Joking only...
very good point of view...good use of wide angle lens...
and contrast range is very well placed...

There is peace here for the moment...
but...turn on spring...put on leaves...
and the trees will fight mercilessly for space...
a battle for light...!
Loosers get their leaves beaten...
may they sense in peace...
